The whole thing is completely **** though. Now that I opened that my Mac can see the Live on Wifi. I didn't know there was an actual app you had to open to get it to connect. I have no idea how but its half ass working now. If it matters, Im on Wifi, so its possible it only works with Ethernet and nothing will show up until I have an ethernet connection but I would think it would too? The tiny bit in the manual about it said to use ethernet to make the connection 'tighter', so that kind of implies it works over Wifi too right? I tried setting up a Network Session in AudioMIDI Setup but it cant connect to the MPC on whatever port it uses for the network stuff. I have it installed, I know Im supposed to use the AKAI - MIDI option (the DAW Control is for Ableton I guess?), but where do I tell the Mpc Live to use this? Logic is set to send clock out to it, but nowhere in the MPC can I set it to use that port. Cannot figure out for the life of me how to do this. When its time to multitrack I want to set the MPC to receive Start/Stop MMC and MIDI Clock from Logic and keep the MPC in time with Logic's time line. Anybody have any idea how the hell the Network MIDI driver is used on a Mac? My MPC is my main sequencer, and Im trying to track all 16 channels of MPC/Synths/Sampler/etc into Logic but I have to sync it to Logic since Im using the group outs 4 tracks at a time.
